Account Deletion & Data Retention

Haulers and providers can delete their account from inside the TowLynk app: Profile → Delete account.
1. How to delete your account
You can delete your TowLynk account at any time from your profile inside the app. Deletion removes your personal information from active use, revokes your access, and takes any provider listing offline permanently.
2. What is deleted
Deleted when you delete your account: your name, phone number, city and state, profile photo, saved trailers and trailer photos, uploaded job photos, provider business contact details, provider logo and gallery images, uploaded provider credential documents, service vehicles, service categories, service-area settings, location history, saved devices used for notifications, and the content of in-app messages you sent.
3. What is kept, and why
Kept, but no longer connected to your name or contact details: payment and refund records, payment-dispute records, records of the legal documents you accepted, and the status history of past service requests. Pettaway LLC keeps these records because they are needed for tax and accounting, refunds, chargebacks, fraud prevention, safety and legal defense. Retained records display as "Deleted account".
4. When deletion has to wait
Account deletion cannot be completed while you have an active or disputed service request, a payment that is still authorized or processing, a refund still being processed, or an open payment dispute. TowLynk will tell you which item to resolve first, and you can delete your account once it is resolved.
5. Deletion is permanent
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will be signed out and will not be able to sign in again with the same account. If you want to use TowLynk later, you will need to create a new account and, as a provider, re-apply and re-submit your credentials for review.
